I’m a movement teacher, personal trainer, and nutritionist with a background in both traditional and non-traditional sports. My work today is shaped by years of athletic training, injury, recovery, and a deep curiosity about how the human body actually works when it’s supported properly.
My physical journey started with a wide range of sports, but after testing the waters, I landed on football, track, and competitive snowboarding as my main focus throughout middle and high school. Through those experiences, I learned my way around a weight room from both a strength development and hypertrophy standpoint, while also training through the very specific lens of becoming a professional snowboarder.
I started snow sports at two years old and eventually joined Team Summit, where I competed in boardercross in the most competitive division in the country for two years. Unfortunately, a series of injuries forced me away from competition. While difficult at the time, those injuries became a major stepping stone in developing my current understanding of the human body.

Three years later. Much more arch in my spine, and 38kg on the belt
I discovered Ape Co in 2019 and began attending classes regularly. Over time, my teacher, Liav Baron, took me under her wing and taught me how to teach and how to become a leader. Through that mentorship, I learned a diverse repertoire of dynamic ground movements, linear strength and mobility exercises, handbalancing techniques, partner games, and somatic tools.
In 2021, I began teaching and personal training. Since then, I’ve continued honing my craft as both a mover and a teacher, constantly refining how I communicate, cue, and support people in their own process.
Through this practice I went from being a skinny white boy to having the body I wanted and accomplishing the goals I gave myself. I have also helped hundreds of students get stronger, more mobile, and become more aware in their body. I have aided them in achieving their first chin-ups, muscle-ups, handstand push-ups, 60s freestanding handstands, and more callisthenic progressions as well as lifetime PRs in their deadlift, back squat and other weightlifting exercises. I have had so much fun helping people get strong and feel better in their bodies.
While I learned a tremendous amount from Liav and from the gym’s owner, Matthew Bernstein, one of the most impactful lessons was the importance of addressing my own lingering injuries and limitations. That realization sent me deep into learning how to get out of pain, and how to help others do the same.
I found ATG (The KneesOverToes Guy's Program) and Feldenkrais and fully immersed myself in both approaches. Through this work, I was able to address pain and limitations in my hips, knees, lower back, shoulders, and wrists. While I continue learning, the tools and understanding I’ve gained have been instrumental in my own healing and are something I’m deeply passionate about sharing.
Since then, I’ve helped hundreds of students overcome limitations, increase their pain-free range of motion, and move beyond what they once thought was possible. I’ve done this work for myself, for my students, and now I want to help you do the same.
Separately, from a young age, I struggled with IBS and other gut-related issues that stemmed from a lack of understanding around proper eating habits. Some early decisions led me to take serious steps toward improving my health — steps that ended up doing far more than just alleviating symptoms.
That experience sparked a deep interest in nutrition and gut health, eventually leading me to pursue certification as a nutritionist through MNU. Alongside this, my training toward becoming a therapist through the Hakomi Institute helped tie together movement, nutrition, and personal development into a cohesive approach.
This combination of experiences has led me to my Ikigai. I want to help change lives by giving people the tools to live capable, fulfilling lives through personal training, movement, nutrition, and personal development.
I have a deep passion for helping others heal, grow, and reach heights they never thought possible — and I bring a lot of tools with me. If any part of this resonates with you, I’d love to support you in whatever way I can.
